Odiyoor Sri Gurudeva Grama Vikasa Kendra :
Sri Swamiji, convinced that a national development is possible only through the development of villages, has introduced 'Grama Vikas' programme under the Samsthanam. Priorities are given to improve health, cleanliness, water supply, building houses and communication systems among the backward areas of the region. The plan aims to achieve its goal in stages.
- Samskar (Value Education)
- Sahakar (Co-operation)
- Sanghatan (Unity)
- Samvruddhi (Development)
These are the four steps in village development. In order to archive "Samskar" In a village, Sathsanga will be carried out. Bhajans, Dhyana, Meditations, will provide basic requirements of Samskar. Co-operation with each other and work unitedly (Sanghatan). This united work will result in "Samruddhi". That is the ultimate Goal.
In order to archive this "Swayamsevakas" (Volunteers) are selected from the village mass and they will be provided the proper training according to the responsibility. This is the working structure:
Each village Swayamsevak is kept in contact with at least 25 houses. He keeps the record of their life requirements, problems and tries to solve them with the help of the Kendra (Centre). Self-Help Groups in village are constituted and are provided with Self-Help trainings, Small Scale Savings, Swa-Udyogas.
'Sugrama Kendras' help in marketing the village products such as Inscence Sticks, Pappads, Pickles, Fruit Squashes, Bakery Items etc. It will market the agricultural products too. Because of this, village money will be circulating in the village itself.

Final words:
Sri Kshetra, launched as "Sri Veeranjaneya" temple over a decade ago, has developed into Sri Gururdevadatta Samsthanam. One can experience the extraordinary human effort which brought the grace of God on this Samsthanam.
There is no inherited property or wealth to this Samsthanam. The yogic powers, and the energy emanating from the spiritual sadhana of Sri Gurudevananda Swamiji, and the collective power of people's devotion are the resources here. All the activities here are truly the result of the invisible grace of Guru. Swamiji works for the all round development of the Samsthanam, fostering the tradition and rituals of Avadhoota sadhus, guiding all around him; seeing his God in them.
Devotees of the region and outside with an open mind have come forward to join the hands with Swamiji in its many creative activities. The sacrifice, sense of dedication, service and the generosity of thousands of people, have helped to transform the Kshetra into an abode of peace for believers.
